THAI YOGA MASSAGE
Traditional Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient healing art which combines gentle stretching and yoga posture with acupressure and reflexology in a fully bodywork which promotes total well-being.
Thai Massage works on the body’s energy lines through which the body’s natural life force flows. When the energy is blocked it creates aches, pains and disease.
In this interactive bodywork, the therapist applies pressure using hands, thumbs, elbows, forearms, feet and knees to release blocked energy, freeing the body’s own natural healing potential.
Benefits that are multi-levelled and include:
- Releases tense muscles & knots
- Increases flexibility & joint movement
- Assists with postural alignment
- Releases tension and stress
- Strengthens the immune system
- Calms the mind
- Promotes deep relaxation
A full body Thai Massage is performed on a mat on the floor with the client dressed comfortably.
